My Wheat Penny Collection
I am very proud of my wheat cent collection. It is very large, although not completed. I am missing some key dates, but I have all of the 1938-1958 cents. I am missing 1909-S VDB, 1912-P,D,and S, among others. I have around 700-800 wheaties, and I am very happy with that amount, especially as a twelve year-old. If anyone knows any place to get nice wheat pennies, let me know in the comments. Thank you for taking the time to read this! Bye!

That is a large amount. The final dates and mint marks will be tough and dwarf the costs of the others.

I just did the math, the cost of the ones ive filled already is around $20, but the last few cost upwards of 1000 dollars!!!

great job with your collection! I go through boxes of cent from the bank-you find lots of wheaties and they only cost one cent!

Welcome. Very nice collection so far. A well laid out photo. Cool. I like to roll search for cents. Go to the bank and buy some rolls. You look through them and return the ones you don't need. I get boxes for $25. You will be surprised how many Wheaties you will find. Good luck. P.S. It is even better if you can use a Coin Star machine to return unwanted cents. That way you don't need to put them back in rolls. I use two banks. One doesn't charge to use the Coin Star.

Outstanding start! This is how we all started for the most part. As a collector of over forty years my advice is to not part with this album under any circumstances. If you enjoy it now, when you are my age that feeling will take on an entirely new meaning..
