Recent Purchases | Coin Update #46

| CoinHunter

Hello all!

Sorry that it took so long for me to get my act together and write this blog up-but I finally did-so enjoy!

So, as I said in the last blog I have a multiple purchases to share with you guys. I have some more coins that I won off of GC to share, along with some coins I bought off of Ebay.

I’ll begin with my Great Collections wins.

First up, I won two PCGS 1923 Peace dollars with GoldShield & True View and the 100th anniversary label. The first one (which I’m going to be selling for obvious reasons) is an MS-62 (which I won for about $43), and the second one (which I’ll be keeping for my collection) is an MS-63 (that I won for $53).

I also won two nicely toned silver coins.

I won this nice PCGS MS-66 1959 (w/ gold shield and trueview) dime with a cool purple/blue toning for about $21 (It is kind of funny that I ended up with this coin-because once upon a time @CentSearcher owned the same exact coin!). And I won this PCGS MS-65 1958 quarter with lovely gold/purple/blue toning (especially on the reverse) for about $28.

Lastly for the GC pickups, I was able to get a super good deal on this PCGS PF-67CAM Benji half-I got it for only $70! Although it isn’t always the most accurate, if you check the PCGS price guide value on this coin it is $125! I plan on reholdering it into a Gold Shield slab eventually.

Alright, now let’s move on to my Ebay pickups!

First up is a PCGS 2020-W Reverse Proof PR-69 Jefferson nickel. I got it for about $29. Next up are two PCGS MS-65 2020-W quarters to add to my graded W quarter collection. The first one is a tall grass prairie that I got for around $45 (I didn’t even have this design raw yet!). The second one is a Weir Farm that I got for around $23 (it has the first week of discovery pedigree). Lastly for my Ebay pickups for now is a PCGS PF-68 1962 nickel (for my PCGS ’62 proof set) that I got for $10. I may reholder it into a GoldShield slab as well-or I might wait until I get my hands on an 69.

Anyways, I think you’ll agree that I got some pretty good deals and made some awesome additions to my collection.

Thanks for reading my blog, enjoy the pics, keep an eye out for my next blog, and have a great day!

You have good taste and a keen eye. Great pickups! The West Point quarters are what I've been putting together, in the same PCGS MS65 grade. I need the 2019 American Memorial and last two for 2020. None of which I paid over $30.00 for, so be patient. The population numbers tell the story.

Wow! These are very good pick ups! I didn’t even know there was a 2020-W nickel. Are you getting all the PCGS graded W Quarters? Anyway, thanks for sharing!

I had to view your coins more than twice because they're impressive. My passion for collecting is so that I checked them again and again. Is not the cash value is the art and Beauty in each piece. You really have that passion.

I know folks love the US Quater but I always disliked that reverse eagle. It is just boring to me. It is interesting to see these climbing in value, especially the mid 1980 clad quaters in high grade.
