Last Year The Cent This Year The Nickel With The Sets.

Well there were about ten MS 70 cents in the Uncirirculaded set because of packaging . Thousands complained. Get ready to complain again. You know the mints motto is screw up once do it again. The Nickel is in the same bag. I won't say anymore.

They are apparently going to make sure the Nickels stay in the envelope so they don't go flying randomly around the box.

"Apparently"- most likely nothing will CHANGE (Sorry bad pun) I suppose that they are mass producing them, sure, we will all complain again but they will most likely still sell so they won't care to make better packaging.

They only keep selling them like this because people keep buying them this way. If we really want to see some CHANGE a boycott or something less drastic but still as effective must be done.

I'm not sure where I lean on the matter. However, the numbers tell the story.

2019w uncirculated cent, PCGS- 5843 submissions, 11 in MS70 (only cent from 59 on in this grade) The majority are in 68 with 69 close. No cents above MS68 from 2005-2013.

NGC- 18,808 submissions, 652 in MS70 and the majority, 13,581 in MS69.

Simply stating the facts, quality has vastly improved. So looking on EBAY the numbers so far are indicative of those from last year, lots of MS70's. But I will say that the current bag is much more improved over the hard cellophane of the past.

Hi how are you? These numbers dont come.from collectors. They come from sellers. They contract for.lets say 200 sets. Take all the nickels send them in and they get a huge discount. There graded and people buy them. I dont know of anyone who would pay 58.00 for one nickel. Thats the base price 17 plus 26 plus 10 plus 5. Then again there probaly people who do. As of now they sold 197,000 sets silver proof non available. Then it said Baxk order. Last year almost 400,000 sets. So i dont know if they will make anymore. Thanks Mike
