Hi. This is just my opinion . Since the new disclaimer went up thing seemed the same. It wasn't till about a couple of weeks that blogs started to fall off. I know the holidays and work and school. But this drop I feel strongly is because of this drastic drop. I honestly believe people are afraid that they will write something wrong and they will be gone without notice of reason. To us that's very scary. But to yns and others it is scary. Who wouldn't be? One minute your here the next day your gone. I think it's a little hard. Especially when people are abusing the point system following thousands and not doing anything else. We have one who's an excellent blog writer but has no friends no followers. He doesn't read anyone else's but he gets all the rewards. Get rid of The dead wood that yns follow they will stay you will see. Mike1 month ago
I Believe The New Disclaimer Is The Reason For The Drop in Blogs
The disclaimer and rules seem kind of standard to me. I don't think it's that hard to follow the rules.1 month ago
The disclaimers were just put in a few months ago. The fact you can be here one day and time the same day for no reason sounds standerd. I have been collecting 27 years and never saw that. NGC don't have it on there journals. You click on a box they investigate wish they make a decision. Young kids are scared to write. I'm sorry we were down for a while while the out these in and the blogs started to call of. Hello good by I don't agree. Mike1 month ago
I don't think the new disclaimer has anything to do with the drop off, I think the drop off is the result of several factors to include poor promotion by ANA (most members are even unaware of the forums or have never visited), The inability of non-members to post questions or comments, somewhat redundant content discouraging long term presence, and over dominance by a limited cadre of users (which is the inevitable result of the first three factors).
The disclaimer and rules seem kind of standard to me. I don't think it's that hard to follow the rules. They have the power to get rid of you for no reason . Thats hard ball to me. I haven't seen anything like that before. Hello welcome good by Ghana for.stopping in.
Hi thanks for your comment. I see it a different way. There was a long period when we were down. I think two weeks. So nothing happened. No one wrote. Then when they saw we have the right to get rid of you no reason and you can't appeal does have an impact.. The the see that there not sure if the blogs and how we write them it's pretty scarrey. Put yourself in there shoes. It's a different world for.them. Yes there are other reasons. But when I write a blog I check it to make sure I'm not being offensive to anyone.. Yes like I said there are other reasons but th I didn't help at all.29 days ago
Well for sure they are not helping or welcoming..29 days ago
Are there any examples to show us of all the people who have been removed for violating the disclaimer, or who claim to have been removed for nothing at all? How many have been removed since the disclaimer came out?28 days ago
There are those who keep to themselves there are yn's we don't meet they don't follow us or us them there is no way of knowing. Those who attempt to sell it reported and they are gone.. The ANA doesn't tell us anything. And I mean that. Last week they changed there I.P.O. We were down for a day and a half.. We didn't know what was going on know messages. . They don't tell us look I was terminated. They keep it to them selves. And with such a low number of active collectors we don't know all 18000. Besides it's over our head everyday. I don't want to take a chance. So you?28 days ago
The disclaimer came about because one individual put some weird code in his blog that caused all kinds of weird effects when you opened his blog and another individual verbally harassed a frequent blogger on this site. The first individual appears to have been banned, the second individual appears to have been warned and may have chosen to leave here. I do not know of anyone banned due to the updated disclaimer, I think there is not a single individual, save perhaps one, who gives the disclaimer any thought when going about their normal activity. That's because the vast majority of us are good and decent people that would never engage in any activity that might cause a banning. I also think the fact our forum requires membership in the ANA eliminates the vast majority of troll-like behavior seen on non-pay forums.
