I have a 1920 Cuba 1 centavo that looks to me to be VF. I tried to list it on eBay, but my listing couldn’t be put up due to regulations. What I was wondering was whether these, especially pre-Castro coins, were legal to sell. I didn’t get the coin from Cuba; it just was found in a bunch of world coins. If it is legal, if you’re interested in buying it, I’d gladly sell it to you.

I'm not aware of it being illegal to buy and sell cuban coins. You can even find North Korean notes everywhere. It may just have been how you listed it.

Yeah, I've got some of that series, 1915-1961. They are nice coins but not worth a lot to the general public. Might be easier to trade or take to a coin show and see someone who specializes in that type of coin. Either way, good luck.

I don't smoke cigars, but would like to sit around with Mike B. and smoke a cuban cigar. As for the cuba coins. I don't know why there would be any regulations against selling them? I have not looked yet, but there must be Cuba coins all over the EBAY and at coin shows. Must of been a posting glitch ?

I also have a couple or three of those coins, I don't think they are on the banned list since they are no longer accepted other than as a numismatic item. Try posting again?

They are made out of copper nickel and are selling for between 1 to 3 bucks on eBay. Suggest holding for trade at a coin show, you might get more for it there, they are not rare. I doubt you will get more than that.Good luck!
