At one time, a lot of money was stored at the Treasury Building. Money is not stored there anymore and coins have never been made there.   

The Treasury Building is located in Washington, DC. As you walk through the door you will see the office of the Secretary of the Treasury. One of the jobs of the Secretary of the Treasury is to obtain designs for new coins.
