National Coin Week challenge winners announced

The ANA sponsored three contests as part of this year’s National Coin Week: the Video Trivia Challenge, the Club Trivia Challenge and the Young Numismatist Coin Design Contest. All three contests centered on the theme “Building Tomorrows: Inspiration and Innovation at World’s Fairs.”

Attendance strong during National Coin Week Open House

The American Numismatic Association welcomed nearly 400 visitors to an open house on April 25 at the Edward C. Rochette Money Museum in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The event was held as part of the 2015 National Coin Week.

Here is the fifth and final installment in this year's National Coin Week Video Trivia Challenge. Please watch the video above, figure out the answer to the trivia question, then submit your answers on this page. If you have all five questions correct, you will be entered into a prize drawing. The grand prize is a 1915-S Panama-Pacific Exposition commemorative half dollar. Other prizes will be awarded as well. Good luck! And happy National Coin Week.

James Reinders takes top two honors in exhibiting at National Money Show

James Reinders, a Life Member of the American Numismatic Association, received the Steven J. D’Ippolito Best-in-Show Exhibit award for “Complete German States 3 Mark Commemorative Type Set (1908-1918)” as well as second place Best-in-Show for “Encased 3¢ Postage Stamps of the Civil War” at the 2015 National Money ShowSM, March 5-7, in Portland, Oregon.
