YN Auctions
YN auctions are held monthly between the 1st and 15th of each month. Please note: the YN Auction and YN Dollars are for young numismatists in grades K-12.
YNs may bid on one or all items but only with YN Auction Dollars. Bids must be placed by the 15th of each month and can be submitted using the form below. In the case of a tie, the first person to submit the winning bid is the winner.
YN Auctions begin on the 1st of each month. Bids must be placed in Google Classroom.
Please note: Our monthly auctions are a “silent” format auction, where bidders post anonymous bids, without knowing who else is bidding or what amounts are being bid.
Silent auction participants must bid strategically to hopefully have bid enough to win a particular lot before the auction closes. The person who submitted the highest bid wins the lot for that amount, regardless of how much higher their bid may be than the next highest bidder.
After the 15th of each month, the winning bidders will be contacted regarding the amount of physical YN Dollars they have to mail in as payment. The item(s) will be mailed out after payment in full has been received. Change in YN Dollars will be provided if exact change is not used as payment.
