Numismatics And Law Enforcement Program

The Numismatic Crime Information Center in conjunction with the American Numismatic Association has created the “Numismatics and Law Enforcement: Bridging the Gap” educational program to encourage dialog between coin collectors, coin dealers and law enforcement.

The goal of the program is to increase awareness toward numismatic crimes and arm local, state and federal officers with the proper knowledge and resources to solve numismatic crimes.

The 45-minute program has been designed for presentation by coin clubs throughout the country. Club representatives can present basic information about numismatics and the hobby at monthly club meetings to law enforcement officials, prosecutors and judges.

For more information on fighting numismatic crimes and presenting the program to your local club, contact the Numismatic Crime Information Center or Doug Davis by e-mailing doug@numismaticcrimes.org or phone 817-705-4450.
